Like many of his clients, Carl Pruetz is a Savannahian by adoption rather than by birth. A native of Wisconsin and a long-time resident of Florida, Carl was persuaded to visit Savannah when a friend opened an inn here. Succumbing almost immediately to Savannah’s charms, he moved here in 2001, and purchased an 1896 residence in the Historic District. For his work on that home, he received the Historic Savannah Foundation’s award in 2002 for the best residential renovation. Presently he lives in Ardsley Park, in a 1920 residence which he has also restored.
Carl’s professional experience as a real estate agent includes seven years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as a top producing agent (rated in the top 5% nationally). His other work experiences have included management assignments in healthcare and retail. He has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s degrees in the medical and human resources fields. Friends say that his passions are Savannah and real estate development. He has come to know this region well: its architectural legacy and its cultural opportunities.
His clients get the benefit of Carl’s keen understanding of professional ethics in real estate transactions, his experience in property renovation, and his affection for and commitment to this area.
